Chronology and Spatiality

The fictional work, drawings, and letter correspondences, as well as several other pieces of work, completed by the author during his years in prison, are highlighted in many passages of Papéis da Prisão. This study, carried out by Mónica V. Silva, allows the reader to date the entire artistic and fictional career of José Luandino Vieira. The maps, produced by Nuno Simão Gonçalves, provide the reader with the spatiality of José Luandino Vieira’s fictional journey.
