Introductory study

Papéis da Prisão [Prison Papers] by José Luandino Vieira are an exceptional seismograph to map the spaces of detention and confinement built by Portuguese colonialism, at the end of its existence, in the face of the growing struggle of African independence movements on several fronts: in clandestinity, in prisons, in the guerrilla.
